Five scientists awake from a cryogenic sleep to find themselves trapped in a strange underground facility with no memory of their past lives. After a string of increasingly disturbing events, the group realizes they are being hunted by someone-and soon suspects that one of them may be a killer.

I gotta say, I was very impressed by this indie movie! Especially considering the low budget! It's a little bit rough right at the beginning during the exposition, but if you give it some patience and pay close attention, there's some CRAZY interesting twists and turns that BLEW my mind! Lots of clues are spread out throughout the movie that you don't even realize are clues until the right moment. Really interesting writing structure. I've never seen anything quite like it! Highly recommended!

After "Knives Out" and Kenneth Branagh's Poirot films, the whodunnit genre was honestly running a bit tired... But CRYO gave it some new life by merging it with the sci-fi genre, and forming a mind-bending thriller in the process. The movie is a unique blend of Alex Garland and Christopher Nolan, along with the independent peculiarities of Sundance darling Shane Carruth. A must-see!
