Sobre este filme

An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic but mysterious "wellness center" at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa's miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure. From Gore Verbinski, the visionary director of The Ring, comes the new psychological thriller, A CURE FOR WELLNESS.

This was an interesting movie, pretty intriguing for most of it. Though I have to agree with other reviews that it sort of falls off toward the very end. Doesn't ruin the whole experience in my opinion, it just suddenly goes a strange direction that makes it feels like a very different movie. Overall the movie feels a lot like shutter island, which I also didn't really care for the ending of, but the intrigue of the movie as a whole made up for it. Worth watching.

This as a fantastic film. Beautiful shots and sets, great acting. Kept you on your toes and guessing the whole way through. Unlike so many movies that are predictable, now a days, I never knew what to expect next. It's definitely more abstract and artsy, so keep an open mind. But otherwise, it was awesome, and refreshing to see something truly unique on the market again.

Tip for enjoying this film: Watch the 1st hour which is genuinely packed with mystery & intrigue. Then immediately stop it. Dream up your own ending. However you imagined it ending is lightyears better than the shoddy mess of stupidity this film becomes.
