Everything was great. The sibling dynamic between Ricci and Eisenberg was my favourite part. Yet I was, and always will be, dissatisfied with that ending. It felt rushed into something it needn't have been. Like after all the adventurous and imaginative ideas that made me love this film so much, they returned to the old horror genre tropes with their tail between their legs, at the last minute.
