Custody is a heart-wrenching drama about the lives of three strangers that intersect in a New York family courthouse. Oscar ®-winner Viola Davis (Fences, The Help) stars as Martha Schulman, a family-court judge with problems of her own. She is presiding over the case of a young mother, Sara Diaz (Catalina Sandino Moreno, TV’s The Affair) whose two children have been taken into protective custody. In desperation, Diaz turns to her lawyer (Hayden Penittiere, TV’s Heroes) and to the court to seek justice.
