In this girl-power adventure comedy, four young women attend D.E.B.S. , an underground academy for future female secret agents where they learn surveillance, firearms training and martial arts. Amy (Sara Foster) is a straight-A student, while Max (Meagan Good) is a fierce, take-no-prisoners leader. Timid and proper Janet (Jill Ritchie) is the opposite of Dominique (Devon Aoki), with her devil-may-care attitude and inability to keep boys out of her bedroom after curfew. Now they must combine the skills they learned, under the tutelage of tough headmistress Mrs. Peatree (Holland Taylor) and Academy president Phipps (Michael Clarke Duncan), to save the world from the deadly Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), the sexiest woman ever to take hostages and wield an Uzi. © 2005 Screen Gems, Inc. Dang! The HD version is spectacular quality. As someone who's been stuck watching the DVD quality, seeing this in BluRay quality makes me feel so happy. DEBS is one of my favourite love stories. It's very tounge-in-cheek and corny, but the more emotionally serious parts are lovely. I love it! It's a nice watch. I know it couldn't be for everyone, though. It's very niche. But at worst, you have a group of beautiful women in plaid skirts. Can't really go wrong!

ridiculous and amazing and like it was made specifically for me, it's that specific a niche - utterly terrible but purposefully so, and so freakin' cute. (note: warning for use of the r-slur to describe a course of action)

Unfortunately someone bought this for me on DVD (while I was a preteen) so I had no idea what this movie was about. The movie is okay I guess (provided you can ignore the questionable moments through out the movie). Even now I feel this movie is a bit weird at times.
