Yes, the ppl who made this film knew what we wanted. Well cast and full of laughs. The simpler times we're reminded of here arent really the war years, but the good old days when the series was most popular. Good production values and a stirring orchestral score. Good English subtitles.

I used to watch the tv series. It's a good remake with very good actors.

Good clean fun.
