Based on the 1960s British sitcom of the same name, this comedy follows the exploits of the part-time soldiers of the Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard during World War II. Yes, the ppl who made this film knew what we wanted. Well cast and full of laughs. The simpler times we're reminded of here arent really the war years, but the good old days when the series was most popular. Good production values and a stirring orchestral score. Good English subtitles.
