Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg face off in the ultimate Dad vs. Step-Dad showdown! Brad (Ferrell), who always dreamed of having the perfect family, is determined to become the best step-dad to his new wife's (Linda Cardellini) children. But when their biological father Dusty (Wahlberg) shows up unexpectedly, Brad's idyllic family life is turned upside down and he must go toe-to-toe with Dusty in this hilarious family comedy.

Omg! The acting in this was awful! I didn't want to not like it because I am Huge fan of Mark Wahlberg but I can't be indenial about it any longer. It was so unrealistic. No character development. No character bonding. It was Stail & unconvincing. Children couldn't act. The reactions were just not enough for the situations that happened. Low budge. Keep to action/drama/ thrillers, mark.

I love Will Farrell but this film was such a dud. It had about 2 funny scenes the rest was like awkward comedy. Mark Wahlberg was actually really annoying in this and I usually like him. Also the children acting was really bad. Give it a miss.

The film is highly enjoyable and the actors have comedic chemistry, but the story is boring and unoriginal, (most comedy films have his issue) and some parts are unnecessary and were thrown in for the sake of it. Too predictable and John Cena was awful..
