Major Harry Smith (Travis Fimmel) and his company of 108 young and inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers are fighting for their lives in the Battle of Long Tan. With 2,500 battle-hardened Viet Cong soldiers closing in, their ammunition running out and casualties mounting, each man searches for the strength to triumph over an uncertain future with honour, decency and courage.

ignore the not real review by Umeomaru who knows nothing about history. The US sided with the south who look identical to the north as they are the same people so no genocide because of looks. This film shows a real view of the horrors of that war. Not the best Vietnam movie but still worth a watch. How people are allowed to leave a negative review on something they have not seen is beyond me Google

I never watched this, but I don't think the Vietnam War is a good subject for a movie. Basically an attempted genocide by the Americans, because they looked different.

Best war movie I have seen and a true story.
