Inspired by a true story, Al Pacino stars as aging 1970s rocker Danny Collins, who can't give up his hard-living ways. But when his manager (Christopher Plummer) uncovers a 40-year-old undelivered letter written to him by John Lennon, he changes course with the help of a new friend (Annette Bening) and embarks on a heartfelt journey to rediscover his family, find true love and begin a second act. How many men came out, who thought they had just watched themselves. Ageing house band lead singers. People who thought they'd make it. Men in their 60's and still playing in the wild horse in Nashville Tennessee. Hey, at least you didn't give up 👍. Hang in there, hit the bluebird

Another good performance from Al Pacino as he creates a lovable yet flawed character. The cast is all around excellent. This movie has a nice blend of family comedy and drama.

Sometimes, real stories ca bring not just another story, but something to think of for your own life. "Danny Collins" did that to me.
