I haven't seen the movie but I met the man many years ago. He came to Camp Planet Hope to speak to the Moms of homeless families. He stayed to help work on resumes and job interview skills and play with the kids. He was so inspiring, genuine, helpful, and personable! I am in awe of him, how he made it thru hard times and changed lives. I worked for CPH but made some bad choices and homeless now. I could use a dose of Danny! Congrats on your success!!

I enjoyed whatching this documentary best one I’ve seen so far . Danny is so inspiring to watch and hear , the part where he first heard the Beatles song in that scene always made me cry like a baby haha, “There’s certain songs that remind you of your wife, your kids, childhood, it even takes you back to when you were highschool “. I liked that quote , I also like the song they play when little Gilbert comes out of prison I’ve always wondered what song it’s called.

wow. I knew the basics of the man's life. But what a story. Words are hard find. Only in America. We can all learn... "to do good." It was an honor to watch. Thank you
