À propos de ce film

For Daredevil, justice is blind, and for the guilty, there's hell to pay! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner ignite dangerous sparks and nonstop thrills in this dazzling action-adventure about the newest breed of superhero. By day, blind attorney Matt Murdock (Affleck) toils for justice in Hell's Kitchen. By night, he's Daredevil, The Man Without Fear - a powerful, masked vigilante stalking the dark streets with an uncanny "radar sense" that allows him to "see" with superhuman capabilities. But when the love of his life, fiery Elektra Natchios (Garner), is targeted by New York City's ruthless Kingpin of crime (Michael Clarke Duncan) and his deadly assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell), Daredevil may be about to meet his match. Featuring Iron Man director Jon Favreau as Foggy Nelson.

If you like to see corny movies that look like they were directed my toddlers, well this is the movie for you. I say this because they made it so everyone has some crazy jumping power when they can stand on the bottom floor and then jump three stories up. Further more King Pin looked like a school janitor plus, he was incredibly easy for Daredevil to take down. And on a side note Bullseye's emblem was black/gray which is not the right color. It is supposed to be red.

It's not a horrible movie, just mediocre. I'd like to give it a half star extra because I don't think it should be as reviled as it is. The plot is coherent but the film's biggest sin is trying to do too much. They could have saved Elektra for a sequel. There were also a few too many campy elements. Bullseye was campy, the playground fight was campy and really didn't make much sense at all. But in the end, it's not a horrible film, it's good enough to chow down on some popcorn and soda. I appreciated the visualization of how Matt 'sees' things via sound, and the sensory deprivation chamber made sense. There were a lot of things in there that helped us understand how blind people cope, and these things made the film better. It's just not great. It works better as a series, for the storytelling aspect, so that it need not be rushed. But if they redid this as a film, they could do more to flesh out the Kingpin and hold Elektra off for the sequel, and give her her proper origin.

Yeah, this should have been more than enough evidence to keep Ben Affleck from playing Batman! I would suggest saving your money or if you are really bored finding a nice spot outside and watching the grass grow. The movie was so bad, I began to wonder if they were filming an episode of Mystery Science Theater. Maybe this is a follow-up to Puma Man, which was much better!
