Before anyone gets all offended and starts jumping on me, what I'm about to say is only my opinion. I know that yours is probably different and that's fine. I do not like this movie. Why? I thought the story was horrible and not planned out very well. I, personally, can't stand Ben Affleck and haven't seen him in a starring role yet that I liked. He has some costar roles that aren't bad but that's it. The role I like best is in Goodwill Hunting. The actor from Netflix makes a great DD.

I loved this movie. Sure, the original wasn't what as great as it could've been, but I feel that way about a lot of movies. The original Spider-Man movie included. My main complaints were actually with Colin Farrell's Bullseye more than anything. Give the Director's Cut an honest try and you just might like it!

After reading the reviews on here and Rotten Tomatoes, I was expecting a total flop. Yes, it's another ridiculous, vigilante, super-hero movie. Yes, it's somewhat of a tired, Spider Man/Bat Man hybrid. Yes, some of the writing seems juvenile. But, if you just want to be entertained for a couple hours, it'll do. Not great, but definitely not a total flop. It's worth a rent if you're bored.
