It stinks, this is what happens when Stan Lee allowed morons to tamper with the franchise that was X-MEN. This Adaptation of compiling years of graphic 2D media and story, into a sloppy halfassed movie, plus the blasphemy of corrupting the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix timeline. Is just wrong. Like the Star Trek 2009 reboot. This epic screwup should never of happened, but it did. And it can't be undone.

This movie was dirty brown water trash. I watched it for free on a United Airlines flight and I still feel like I got ripped off. It reeks of actors phoning in their performances while looking to fulfill the final obligation of a multi-pic deal. Sophie Turner's performance is as wooden as Pinocchio's wang. The drama is little theater-esque and the action sequences are laughable when compared to the other films in the franchise. No redeeming qualities. Hard pass.

Eh, not much character development, the aliens were never really explained, same tired old "humans are afraid of mutants" plotline. The cartoons from the 90s were so much better. It's time to shelve the X-Men franchise for a while. What was once fresh and original is now boring and stale. MCU/Avengers have set a new bar for comic book movies and these just don't measure up.
