The slow-burn narrative and minimalist dialogue might not be for everyone, but it allows for a more nuanced exploration of the characters' inner turmoil. The film's ending is both satisfying and thought-provoking, leaving the audience with plenty to ponder. While some might find the pacing a bit slow, Dark River is a beautifully crafted film that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

Dark River was a bit too bleak for my taste. The pacing was slow, and the overall tone was quite depressing. While the performances were solid, the film felt a bit too somber. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a light-hearted watch
