Kate (Halle Berry) is a shark expert whose business has been failing since a shark attack killed a fellow diver under her command. Once dubbed "the shark whisperer," Kate is haunted by the memory of the attack and unable to get back into the water. With bills piling up and the bank about to foreclose on Kate's boat, Kate's old flame Jeff (Olivier Martinez) presents her with a lucrative opportunity: lead a thrill-seeking millionaire businessman on a dangerous shark dive...outside the cage. Battling her self- doubts and fear, Kate accepts the proposal -- and sets a course for the world's deadliest feeding ground: Shark Alley.

I think Halle Berry is a very good actress. However, this was not her movie. But, you should see it for yourself. You just might like "Dark Tide." To each his/her own. It might be better than a piece/bunch of crap. Who knows? If you like Sharks you might like this movie. Give it a try!

Just please give me a moment.. DO YOU REALIZE THE UNDERWATER FOOTAGE IS FRIGGIN HUGE.. SHARKS ARE GOOD ORGANISM THEY DONT WANT TO HIT HUMANS, 9 OUT OF TEN TIMES THE LET GO (YES IT MAY BE TOO LATE OF YOU STRUGGLE) listen im a diver, rescue, master instructor there a point to this film okay geez does everything have to be Michael Bay ; PASSIONATELY JEFF 'LOVITS '... (im sorry but humans may deserve what will become of us, please try to minimize what we take down with us)

...than being covered in feces and it is sitting through this stupid boring movie. HB doesn't even look good anymore. If you are even slightly suicidal, watch something else.
