Замечательный фильм. В нем нет экшена , но отлично показано как руководство страны переживает события войны. И кто-то должен принимать тяжелые решения. Я смотрел его в один день с фильмом "Дюнкерк" и это дало отличную картину как одни и те же события переживают простые солдаты и руководство страны. Однозначно рекомендую к просмотру.

Once history has been written it becomes all too easy to take it for granted, to regard history as a foregone conclusion. If nothing else, by chronicling the moment, this film shows that there was nothing certain about the outcome of those early days of WWII. Consequently this well known chapter of history appears in Darkest Hour as fresh as the days in which this history was being made.

This film is very boring because there is no Action. But the story is Interesting. It tells that Winslet Churchill is a Good Prime minister and he care about his men.
