Amid the vast openness of the Pacific Ocean, two survivors of the Battle of Midway wait for rescue while the crew of the PBY Catalina venture into treacherous waters in search of airmen who were shot down.

Ratings and reviews

Low-budget CGI that lacks finish but compensate with some historical accuracy and at least one very good battle scene. The acting feels amateurish but it sometimes fits the era and the characters. There is some just slightly over-the-top arrogance from a captain towards an admiral which feels like a poor attempt to add drama when it didn't really need more. The central story evolves around two characters which barely relate one to another and the disappointing end of the movie makes you understand that the whole thing probably is personal homage made by some descendant. This movie will not please everyone.
