Please watch the original version of this movie. This is an absolute disaster of a remake as the only things similar between these two is the name and that there's a mall. This film doesn't even stand up well on it's own merits, it's just another boring zombie action film where every zombie became Usain Bolt somehow and doesn't say or do anything interesting.

I'm, always wary of 'remakes' however, Snyder's version sticks to Romero's original vision and, still has enough originality to be very entertaining and thus, can stand on its own two decaying shuffling feet. Whether, your a fan of the original, a lover of the genre or, just an average film goer with a penchant for gore and, scares I, believe you'll enjoy this film and, talk about it with your peers.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING compares to the original Dawn of the Dead, which is leaps and bounds above this crap. Zombies are not supposed to be fast. They're dead!
