Director Richard Linklater's follow-up to Slacker takes an autobiographical look at some Texas teens (including Ben Affleck and Matthew McConaughey) on their last day of school in 1976, centering on student Randall Floyd (Jason London), who moves easily among stoners, jocks and geeks. Floyd is a star athlete, but he also likes smoking weed, which presents a conundrum when his football coach demands he sign a "no drugs" pledge.

I absolutely love this movie and everything about it. The music is amazing. The fact that it is set in the 70s. The cars &fashion. Love the actors. I've seen this movie over 20 Times and every single time k watch it it gets better and better... If you haven't seen it you're missing out! Btw I'm a girl &I'm 17 too bad I missed out on the 70s! Alright alright alright!!!!

i know this is probably pretty pathetic but i got this movie on vcs when it came out and watched it constantly.it stayed on my tv non stop.then went on to own it on laser disc,dvd and now blu ray . definitely remains to this day in my top 3 all time favorites!.Awesome movie!!!

This movie is amazing. It had me cracking up. The only thing is that I noticed on the splash screen that it incorrectly credits Renee Zellweger. She is not in this movie. There is only one amazing blonde in it and her name is Joey Lauren Adams.
