A young couple, Anne and Harry, move into a new house and discover a story about a murder taking place at their new home some years ago. Anne - a keen photographer - begins to experience strange things when she is alone in the house and fears that a malevolent force is seeking revenge for evil acts committed in the house. Events reach a terrifying climax with the interference of her embittered mother-in-law.
