Found the action scenes great and. . . . . yawn..... After a while this movie was like a lost child in a shopping mall. It struggled to find direction as the plot seemed very sketchy. I was a big fan of the first one, and given that sequels have a hard time, there were just too many one-liner scenes and not enough get up and go scenes. In the end, I didn't make it to the end of this movie.

Meh, it has its funny moments but definitely glad I only paid 99c for the rental. I dunno, I'm only 31 but movies seem to just not seem worth the money anymore. This movie felt like it was my mother trying to teach me certain morals. Story was not great, the only great part was the humour in it. This is why movies are pirited. People just dont feel they're worth paying for..because they really aren't.

I must have a different degree of measure as to what makes a movie great. I really enjoyed the original; great cinematography, engaging plot and characters and a logical unfolding of a comic book based story. D2 just seemed to be lacking all the elements of what made the first movie so much fun. Josh Brolin as Cabel was perfectly cast but sorely wasted in this movie. The Kiwi kid only seemed to be in the movie because of the success of Kiwi humour in Thor:Ragnarok. Plainly put he is an amateur actor in a big studio production and his 'acting' is quite jarring against the professionals. All in all D2 is OK, but barely a 3 out of 5 and I'm so glad I didn't waste money on purchasing the blue ray.
