When political turmoil forces British-Caribbean dictator Anton Vincent (Michael Caine - The Dark Knight, Inception) to flee his island nation, he seeks refuge in the most unlikely of places, with rebellious teenage girl Tatiana (Odeya Rush - Goosebumps, Lady Bird) and her mother (Katie Holmes - Dawson’s Creek, Batman Begins) in suburban America.
