The breathtaking Broadway phenomenon becomes a soaring cinematic event as Tony®, Grammy® and Emmy Award® winner Ben Platt reprises his role as an anxious, isolated high schooler aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social-media age. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Stephen Chbosky, Dear Evan Hansen features music and lyrics by the Oscar®, Grammy® and Tony®-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman), including two brand new songs and the iconic anthem "You Will Be Found.

A good story to be watched by the whole family. Has lots of lessons for both parents and kids. Ben Platt did a wonderful job with his performance in this movie, acting all scared and naive... I really admired that. The good selection of music and voice performances made this a worthy watch, highly recommend this.

I love this movie. The best advice I can give you is go to see it. Please ignore the reviews and ignore what people say about it cuz that's their own opinions. Movies are being ruined by entitled fan base and really bad reviewers who somehow made it their life's mission to not only destroyed a film but make sure that nobody else go see it ignore them. You have a right to like and dislike a movie. But everybody else has the same thing so please don't feed those people who wants to ruin the show.

This movie isn't perfect and I know a lot of people have complaints about it. However, it's really good, and heartfelt, and sensitive, and real, and as a high-school age boy who struggles a lot with mental health, it means a lot to me personally. I recommend watching it.
