Cody Johnson, is telling all of our story, I lived and continue daily living the ( Dear Rodeo ) song / story. I was tearing up the entire movie. For anyone who ever tried to be or really got to be a Cowboy/ Cowgirl, you will be able to almost see your life’s dream being told as Cody takes us through his. Cody, Thank you making this, I to rode my way to the title of being able to call myself a Cowboy. Rodeo took my life from me , and Rodeo gave my life also. Living the majority of my life with an undiagnosed brain injury from a bull riding accident when i was 15. Another Rodeo accident 4 yrs later led to an addiction and subsequent Incarceration that lasted over a decade. Now I Run a successful Farrier Buisness and get to live out my Rodeo life dream helping folks like us and their horses live theirs. The Lord answered my dream of World Champion in a slightly different way than i saw it , but in 2018 my Horse became the NRHA Open World Champion, lol and they gave me the buckle , Shooter “ my horse” can’t wear the buckle so i believe the intention was that I wear it. Ha ha boy this life sure has been a good one, thanks for this documentary , its help me see how lucky I’ve been to call myself a Cowboy.

Love the movie it really describes me a 100% Thank you Cody Johnson for a awesome movie and i cried when Cody and Reba sings Dear Rodeo or watching the movie.
