I watched this movie for the first time when I was about 7 years old and at the time I thought that it even stood up to the likes of Jaws but now that I look back I don't understand what I was so happy about, probably because LL Cool J steals the show. I do like this movie more so than Jaws 3 and 4 and overall it's not bad.

I love shark movies. Just love them. But this is something special, probably my favourite 90s movie in the genre. While it IS a tad phoned in at times, several scenes will literally make you jump and scream. It took several viewings to resist the urge myself. MUST SEE.

Clear B Movie. Bad sound (they always sound like they are in a recording studio), B acting (except Stellan, who they killed off first), bad plot, bad effects, bad bad bad.
