The murder of a composer's neighbor has ties to the occult book the tunesmith is currently reading. When the songwriter decides to investigate the murder, he finds himself ensnared in a bloody web of intrigue -- particularly when the author of the occult book also turns up dead.

this STUPID movie doesn't even deserve .5 star, if you can't sleep rent this stupid so called horror movie you will be asleep within 15 minutes, the blood looks like paint, the music doesn't match the scene, it sounds like a soundtrack from an old detective movie, i wish I could get my money back, and those idiots at rotten tomatoes said this garbage is in the top 150 horror movies of all time!!

Perfect blend of Argento visuals (before they became his obsession) and a complex plot that surprises without cheating.

I love this movie. It is a precursor to modern slasher movies. Great sound track.
