A powerhouse cast brings to life one of the most astonishing untold true action stories of World War 2... This is an epic tale of family, honour, vengeance and salvation, where three brothers turn defiance into victory. It is 1941. The 'final solution' is in full effect and the Jews of Eastern Europe are being slaughtered on mass. The Bielski brothers have managed to escape this massacre and seek refuge in the densely wooded forest they have known since childhood. At first, survival is all that matters, but they soon build a hidden life deep in the forest. True WWII story of Jewish brothers trying to survive in the forrests of the Ukraine. After local towns people murder their families PRIOR to Nazis arriving brothers set up a militia with other survivors, build a community to fight the Nazis. Brilliant. To this day there is still very few Jews living in the Baltic states and still anti-Semitism. Great film watch it.

Sturring stuff loved to see these people hold there heads up and spit in the face of anti semitic SOBs just by continuing to live and defending themselves. A lesson for us all.

A very important record of human decency and courage surviving against the monstrous face of humanity.
