Demetrius is an ex-slave who embraces Christianity after he witnesses the Crucifixion.  Demetrius' new found peaceful ways put him in direct conflict with Roman Emperor Caligula, who will stop at nothing in his search for the magic robe of Christ.  Imprisoned by the Emperor's Legionnaires, Demetrius is forced by Caligula to train as a Gladiator and fight for the Emperor's amusement. To complicate issues, the well-proportioned Demetrius attracts the attention of Messalina, the beautiful wife of Claudius, the man in line to succeed Emperor Caligula.  Can the new found faith of Demetrius withstand Messalina's advances, Caligula's madness, and the men and beasts who challenge him in the arena?
