The first 40 minutes Zak goes back to his roots and does a magnificent job making a journalistic investigative documentary. I was actually impressed with the way he covered two sides of the coin of the demon house. From the 40 minute mark to about an hour and 15 minutes it goes into a what appears to be a filler style melodramatic incident that just appears too staged but makes you wonder "is it real." During this Act 2 you are mostly just wanting to move into Act 3. The last 15 minutes of the movie turns into a paranormal style (the movie) presentation of Zak staying in the Demon House by himself. There you will find why he wears the big glasses now and it hits it's climatic point. Overall the movie was entertaining and if you are a fan of Zak then it's a no brainier to watch. It not a long GA episode which may be it weakness. An additional 20 minutes of investigation in the house in a GA style would push this movie into the 5 star range, but Zak wanted to do something different and probably had to due to legal issues. There are no "findings" like you expect. It has tons of circumstantial evidence and I think you leave the movie just being left wanting more when there isn't any.

Lesson learned. I should have rented this rather than pay $10 for it to become a permanent part of my movie library. Basically this is an extended episode of Ghost Adventurers with some uncensored F bombs. It gets two stars for not being the absolutely worst film I've ever seen, though I still wish I had not seen it. I guess it takes a true fan of the TV show to really dig it and give this the higher ratings it's getting. I guess I was expecting more than what the TV show offers, I don't know. If you are a fan of Ghost Adventures, you may enjoy Demon House.

WARNING!!!SPOILERS. So I really wanted to see this movie and was actually waiting for the 16th like it was Christmas morning lol. I bought this right away last night and watched it late at night, and I need to re-watch it again now to really pay attention, I think I overhyped myself and I am was too excited to pay proper attention. In the end I agree with those who said they wished there was more if an investigation done, I also wish Aron was there, why wasn't he? Also, it finally had a mention of what happened to Debby and Mark Constantino, which was long eating at Me, how come Zack never mentions them and the tragedy that occurred, and here he is tying it into his film, I don't know how I feel about that. conflicted. My instincts say faked, but I also want to believe for some reason. Also, the picture of an apparition standing in the window of the house which was available online as a photo taken by the Gary police and was "the courtesy of the police" that picture was quickly dismissed by Zack as faked by an app. I was disappointed in that. So what other visual evidence was there? I couldn't tell if the boy climbing the wall was anreinactment or the real taped inside the as there were reinactments of the children in the house, the children acting as if possessed were definitely reinactments because the mother refused to participate in the documentary. So if there was a video of the inside the in the hospital it wasn't shown, maybe it wasn't on video? Was it just that a few credible people were giving the same story but it was not on tape? I'm not sure, like I said I am going to re-watch it now, to be sure of what's unclear, tho I wanted to post a 1st impression review and may be a follow up after I see it again. OVERALL, I enjoyed it, and I love ghost adventures show and I am anxiously waiting for the 16th season to start I think March 24th or so. Thanks for reading.
