Eight years ago, Father Colin Hampstead oversaw an exorcism that resulted in the death of 17-year-old Jewel Grant. In the traumatic aftermath, Hampstead, disillusioned with religion, left the church, got married and became a celebrated writer. But he can’t escape his tortured past and now he and his wife are being tormented by the dead girl’s ghost.
