Rarely do I watch a modern Swedish film and enjoy it. But this one did win me over. There exist a slightly infamous documentary/instructional film from the 80s called Förebudet that details the dangers and potential ways of invasion by an outside nation. And this film in many ways feel heavily inspired by that little gem of half forgotten film history when we Swedes could indulge in fantastical situations and gratuitous gore effects. If paranoia tickles you, then enjoy this film.

While audience reviews are mixed, the 100% on Rotten Tomatoes says it all. This is a rare gem of Swedish cinema; a disaster movie that is made believable through true-to-life character portraits and everyday, unembellished environments. Beautiful in story and execution, with heart and depth beneath technically impressive scenes and good to great acting.

Älskade denna filmen! Hade aldrig en tråkig och seg stund. Musiken är känslig och fin, effekterna är riktigt bra! Man har också fångat Sverige och den svenska andan gudomligt bra. Se den!
