About this movie

From the award winning team that brought you GRAVITY comes a tense cat and mouse thriller set on the US/ Mexican Border. Moises (Gael Garcia Bernal, Mozart in The Jungle) is travelling by foot with a group of undocumented workers across a desolate strip of the border between Mexico and the United States, seeking a new life in the North. They are discovered by a lone American vigilante, Sam (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, The Walking Dead) and a frantic chase begins. Set against a stunningly brutal landscape, Moises and Sam engage in a lethal match of wits, each desperate to survive and escape the desert that threatens to consume them.

This is a hidden gem of a movie that has slipped through the net, shot in a amazing location with a great cat and mouse story line. Alone vigilante, his tracking dog and a sniper rifle is the cocktail to this film picking off undocumented workers on the US Mexican Border. It’s hostile, brutal and fast paced with plenty of twists and turns, as he slowly gets the job done. Jeffrey Dean Morgan does a great job in this role with a good solid performance, with his trusted mutt by his side who knows he’s in for a busy time sniffing the dirt. Well worth a watch In my opinion, not for the faint hearted at times.
