Destination Wedding reunites two of Hollywood’s most adored stars, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, as the socially awkward Frank and Lindsay. When they meet on their way to a destination wedding, they soon discover they have a lot in common: they both hate the bride, the groom, the wedding, themselves, and most especially each other. As the weekend's events continually force them together -- and their cheerlessness immediately isolates them from the other guests -- Frank and Lindsay find that if you verbally spar with someone long enough, anything can happen. Terrible. So boring. Dialogue is awful. Acting is awful. And so disappointing because I love Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. If you want to watch a movie with the same repetitive, prosody of speech and absolutely no involvement of other characters go for it. It could have been great, but they missed it by a mile. I also never write reviews, but had to so I could spare people spending money and wasting their time on this one.

I don't watch many movies anymore and was having a hard time finding one to stream. I'm glad I chose Destination Wedding. Unique movie and approach, and good acting. Well Keanu is not Marlon Brando, but he does ok. And nice to see Winona is back. They were great together. Worth watching if you're tired of the same hum drum.

Although most of the reviews of this movie I've read are disparaging, I thought it was entertaining. The repartee of the two characters was quick and witty. This was a definite plus as the only dialogue in the movie was spoken by these characters. The premise was believable and I liked that the movie's main focus was on the two characters with everything else being background. The scenery was lovely but there could have been less as it didn't necessarily add to the story. Although I like Keanu better when he's kicking ass, e.g., John Wick, he played his dour character well. I liked the ending--it was almost a promise of "happily ever after."
