A fatal Volcanic explosion and the largest Earthquake to rock the area, devastates Los Angeles and it’s population. The city’s top News Reporter John Benson seizes his chance to cover the breaking story of a city being torn apart from within, as he struggles to find his family lost in the turmoil.

It was an okay film. Some effort has been put in to understand the science involved, though they still miss a few points. It had a sense of realism, in that it didn't focus on portraying a "Hero", instead showing what might be more realistic situations. The only part I didn't like was the closing scene. It made no sense. It actually feels like they filmed the closing scene, then changed their mind; filmed a new preceding scene; then forgot to change the closing scene. The closing needs explanation.
