From Tribeca Film. Adrien Brody (in his most acclaimed performance since THE PIANIST), Marcia Gay Harden & Christina Hendricks star in this award-winning drama about teachers in a troubled high school. From the director of AMERICAN HISTORY X.
This film perfectly captures the pain and deprivation we see in this current generation of youth. Brody not only delivers a heart wrenching performance, he begs the audience to take action. Kaye petitions with this film for parents to wake up! See your children. Listen to them. There are teachers out there that still care. Kaye acts as their voice in this film. And he did a far better job than anyone else before him.
This movie has impacted me in such a deep way, as an aspiring educator, I'm reminded of parts of this film often, absolutely loved it. It embodies the beautiful any tragic bits of being human, and the sad state of the education system and turbulent home lives of many students in America.
