A bit of a disappointment from George A. Romero after his superb previous zombie movie. I can't help feeling that a few extra weeks of prep work, acting rehearsal, rewriting the script and focusing on beefing up the physical effects would've done wonders.

I'm quite fond of these movies but this one is is just not very good. It cashes in on the popular reality feel/look which seemed to be everywhere at the time. For me it fails because of this. Sorry fans
