Facing Christmas 3,000 miles from his estranged wife and two children, New York policeman John McClane (Bruce Willis) flies to Los Angeles bearing presents and hoping to patch up his marriage. Stylish and cool Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) is in Los Angeles as well for the holiday season, but he's not there to give out presents. He's there to take more than $600 million in negotiable bearer bonds from the multinational Nakatomi Corporation, where McClane's wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) is an executive. When the takeover becomes hostile, it's up to John McClane to take on the terrorists with all the grit and determination he can muster--but not without a sense of humor.

The movie is amazing, as always, but I find unacceptable the lack of subtitles for a movie which already has subtitles in many other stores or (and this is the craziest thing) in many other countries from the GooglePlay Store itself! I hope they fix this because for me is not an issue but my girlfriend still needs subtitles to fully understand some movies... Google, please: do something!

One of the best action films ever made and stand out performance from Alan Rickman as the baddie....he does a fantastic job and to his credit Bruce Willis keeps things ticking along nicely...the action and music score are very good.

Amazing film and one of the greatest action flicks of all time, spawning hundreds of copy cats. An awesome bad guy, and an awesome hero. Seasonal christmas adventure at its best.
