Completely missed the mark. I loved season one and two of Digimon Adventure, but this movie is nothing like them. The old episodes were packed with fast-paced humor and this was just a sad excuse to showcase teen angst. I had to will myself to finish the movie (out of pure curiosity) because it felt like I was watching it in slow motion, especially since there was little valuable dialogue to begin with. Plus, there were only vague descriptions of what the characters were experiencing, so it became a little hard to truly understand what was going on with each person. I'm so bummed about how this movie turned out.

Just. So. Bad. Listen, I'm a fan of nostalgia but this movie was agonizingly slow, choppy, and terribly edited. Pros were the fight scene and original voice actors but they couldn't save this sorry excuse for a movie. A real wasted opportunity.

There are good moments in all movies but boy i can't stand the new girl, does literally nothing but crying, god shut up. It was satisfying to see Tai loses it and tells her to shut up.
