I usually consider myself to have a really high taste in movies, so when it comes to Bollywood, I remind myself to leave that behind and just enjoy the movie for its own sake, rather than picking flaws at it not being up to my standards. I was ready to do the same with Dil Dhadakne Do until I realized, about a quarter of the way through the movie, that Zoya Akhtar was way, way more talented than I had ever thought. Not only was this film a pleasure to watch, it also turned out to be intelligent, emotive, and bathed in deeper meaning. The cinematography was divine, and the directing reminded me constantly of Wes Anderson's, "The Grand Budapest Hotel." Easily one of the best Bollywood movies I've seen in ages.

Though it appears to be a typical high class movie It touches the most common problems every indian faces due to steriotype views. Must watch at least once in life. It gives you a whole different perspective of life.
