For Cooper (Matthew Beoderick - Ferris Bueller's Day Off), a Chicago journalist suffering from memory loss, life is anything but normal. After being dumped by his live-in girlfriend, he visits his rural hometown to try and convince his aging uncle (Alan Alda) he must go into a home...this is when things really get interesting. First, Cooper runs into an old flame who is recently divorced (Virginia Madsen), then he learns about a rare and priceless baseball card his uncle still possesses. It isn't long before an unexpected trip to a memorabilia convention in the city and a budding relationship with Charlotte make one thing increasingly clear - Cooper's Journey home has become a life-changing road trip of self-discovery...and sanity.
