In the summer of 1963, innocent 17-year-old Baby (Grey) vacations with her parents at a Catskills resort. One evening she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music. There she meets Johnny, the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. Baby soon becomes Johnny's pupil in dance and love.

Nothing can be more than perfect for two people, Johnny and Baby(Frances Houseman) to meet, fall in love, and, most importantly of all, dance together behind the backs of her family, the boss and his grandson, Neil, who really cares about Baby, and also there is Penny, Johnny's own dance partner, who also knows what is going on which complicates things, especially for the two of them because TRUST is the main reason why it can cause problems for everyone involved! Watch and see what happens!

It makes me that it's the same thing I went through since I met my boyfriend. He opened me up, got me over my fears, and made a much stronger person than I'll ever would've been

I have loved this movie since I first saw it in my teens. It's a great love story filled with adventure. The music is great, the dancing is addicting to watch, and their love story makes for one of the best chick flicks of all time. I will never tire of this film.
