Apart from the handful of jokes which that deserve only a chuckle, the rest of the movie seems to be made with the comedy of a ten year old boy. It's all fart jokes, boner jokes or tiring bits about drugs and sex that are just in poor taste. I love a good comedy and don't mind if it gets a little vulgar sometimes if it helps move the story along. But this movie is the perfect example of a great cast, a terrible script and an even worse movie. On the plus side Zac Efron​is still hot so there is that.

I laughed my ass off through the entire movie! I never heard of it until a friend rented it and decided to sit down and check it out cause come on, it can't be all that bad if De Niro is in it! Today's comedy movies are all shit and lack good humor, but this one busted me up and I'm glad I checked it out! Lemme tell ya, the last time I laughed so hard at anything was seeing Robin Williams perform live stand-up! Believe me, this shit is hilarious!!

This is the funniest I have ever seen De Niro. Even Zac Efron was pretty funny. But De Niro was a laugh the whole movie. I almost didn't rent this because I thought it would be a waste of my time, but instead I watched it several times laughing so hard. Now I am purchasing Dirty Grandpa because it's hard to find a comedy performed so well. This movie and Bad Words are the best comedies that I have seen in ages. Dirty Grandpa is a lot more vulgar though but played very well.
