Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery Nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet To Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths old scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.

As a big fan of Jim Carrey, I really enjoyed his performance as Ebenezer Scrooge (and the ghosts). The CGI details are amazing especially down to the faces of the actors through motion capture. Definitely one of my Christmas films.

Lovely to watch, the CGI still looks great. The ending is rushed. To see more examples of his new self would have been nice.

I watch christmas movies all year round i love this movie a great family movie just watch tiny tots with the ghosts of christmas past cauld be scary for them x
