Divergent is a substandard film about a world split into factions based on virtues and a divergent girl that doesn't fit in. I think it's too much like a Hunger Games wannabe in a youths fight-for-survival in a corrupt world sense and overstays its welcome on the screen for far too long. The performances were ok at best. No one really stood out to be honest. While an ok movie, I wouldn't go through watching it again.

A Canadian Girl
The Hunger Games series is better, but this series is in its own way awesome. Chicago is now only a shell of the city it once was, where a future society mainly lives categorized into different factions, and each of the factions and the wall, it seems, were intended to help create a better world. But there is alas, a very dark side to this supposed Utopia. The main characters I love, and the villains I just love to hate. If you liked the Hunger Games, this movie is worth watching.

These guys didn't read the second book in the series. They completely left out Edward, and even if you look past that it's still a poorly done film. If you haven't read the book you'll think it's OK, but as a book to film adaptation, it's not that good.
