About this movie

Marcello, a small and gentle dog groomer, finds himself involved in a dangerous relationship of subjugation with Simone, a former violent boxer who terrorises the entire neighbourhood. In an effort to reaffirm his dignity, Marcello will submit to an unexpected act of vengeance.

This is absolutely amazing. If you love a gritty thriller filled with a multi layered characterisation then you will love this. It reminded me of a tarantino movie. Such a thrill to watch.so compelling. Give it a go.

Not a cute film about a man looking after dogs (it is quite violent in parts) but an excellent movie on the theme of a bully and his decent but weak collaborator. A rather grim depiction of life in a southern Italian community. Brilliant acting. Dogs do feature.

Masterpiece. Worth every minute from start to finish!
