Ted Beaumont (Matt McCoy) and Erin Davenport (Shari Shattuck) are adulterous lovers who make a deadly pact. Erin will murder Marla (Tracy Scoggins), Ted's oppressive wife and boss. In exchange, Ted will kill Dexter (David Ackroyd), Erin's abusive husband. Each will thus have an airtight alibi for the time their spouses are dispatched. Shortly thereafter, Marla disappears. Now Ted must devise an elaborate scheme to do away with Dexter, not knowing that both men are pawns in an even larger game.
