Father Lankester Merrin (Stellan Skarsgard) is conducting an archeological dig in East-Africa when he discovers remnants of a pagan church. After abandoning the priesthood due to his experiences in World War II, Father Lankester Merrin must rediscover his faith to combat a foe that’s cunning, unrelenting, and immortal.

Boy you really screwed the pooch on this one. Why would you try to FIX something that isn't broken ? Just because the first PREQUEL was awesome , doesn't mean go ahead and try to make the same thing , only different ? Sounds double dumb to even say it.

An improvement on the theatrical cut. The final showdown was more interesting and cerebral instead of the cheesy Evil Dead-esque scene from the thatrical version.

Pagans do not believe in the devil! Please stop associating the devil with pagans. The devil is part of Christianity. Two different things. Educate yourselves.
