About this movie

George Lester (Jerry Lewis), an American idiot living abroad, has come up with a new get-rich-quick plan: converting his estranged wife Pamela's (Jacqueline Pearce) London home into a swinging Chinese disco. Livid, the future ex-Mrs. Lester orders him to change it back. Short of funds, George steals the blueprints to a new electronic oil drill, which he intends to sell to the highest bidder. Enlisting the aid of conman and fellow idiot Willy Homer (Terry-Thomas), George smuggles the plans to Lisbon, but soon discovers there are two minor hitches to his grandiose scheme: he's about to be double-crossed and the drill doesn't work. 1967, renewed 1995 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc.
