Vijay Varma (Amitabh Bachchan) and Ravi Kapoor (Shatrughan Sinha) are two close childhood friends. When they think they have matured enough, they decide to enter law: one as a police officer and another as a lawyer. Their lives take a turn when both reach a woman named Sheetal Sahni (Zeenat Aman) at different places and time, respectively. Both fall in love with her and do not relate each other's emotion to one another. Then an old enemy of Vijay named Mr. Daaga (Prem Chopra) enters the scene and deploys a way that will create misunderstandings between the two friends forever. (CBFC U 94940 dt.8.10.1980)
